The valedictory program of MBA/PGDBM course orientation Nirmana-2022 is conducted on 05.02.2022. The program was conducted for 6 days as per the guidelines.
The Chief Guest Dr.Neelakka C.Patil, Principal of Shri Mritunjaya College of Arts & Com, Dharwad in her address expressed that the India has the youngest population of about more than 60% of the world. So being the leader of technology in the world, our student should use the technology judiciously for the benefit. Apart from Above She has Enlighten the Young Minds of Students by telling About Empathy, Simplicity, Social Responsibility towards Society. She also informed student should be armed with two weapons namely - “Dedication & Commitment”. She believes these weapons will help students in their Entire Life.
The president of the program and director of the Institute Dr.Veeranna D K opined that the orientation program is designed to change the psychological, intellectual, ethical behaviour in the students. They should learn the etiquettes. required for the world of work.
The one week program was inaugurated by Prof.H.Nagaraj, Honourable Registrar(Evaluation),Karnataka University, Dharawd and Mr. Mr.Gururaj Kuntoji an alumnus of our college addressed the students. Dr.Veeranna D.K. Director, IEMS B-School took a session on “Creative Thinking – Ways and Means”, Prof.Jagadish Pattar has conducted a session on Academic Rules and regulations. Mr. GururaJ Patil has conducted session on “Motivational Talk” Dr.Poornima Charantimath addressed on the “Industry Expectations from MBA students”. Sapna Pandurangi gave a lecture on “Positive Thinking and Mental Health”. Students were taken to Deshapande Foundation, Hubli to experience the world of Entrepreneurship and to motivate students to become entrepreneur to support Make In India concept. Mr.Sushant Kulkarni was invited for talent hunt and choreography. Mr.Sangamesh Menasinakai addressed the students on Business Reporting and its importance to MBA students.Ms.Achal spoke on “Business Communication”. She gave lot of inputs to improve communication skills and email etiquettes. To have icebreaking session students have been taken on an outbound activity at Agadi Totha.
The program was hosted by Ms.Manasi Dharawadkar. The program welcomed by Prof. Vinayak Uparate, The vote of thanks delivered by Prof.Smita Jadhav an event coordinator of NIRMANA-2022. Student coordinator Mr.Avinash Reddy and Ms.Soumya Hiremath were present on the stage. The staff, parents and students witnessed the program.
