  • Interview and Placements

An interview is a process of finding a good, potential, and appropriate candidate for a specific job. The interviewer looks for a strong candidate, who will be a good fit with the company culture as they try to know whether the candidate does the job well.

What an interviewer tries to see at MBA Campus Interview

  • Candidate’s ability to speak and express themselves confidently.
  • Knowledge of the company, its products, and the job role.
  • Skills required for the job.
  • Ability to learn new skills.

The speaking ability of an interviewee showcases whether he/she can respond, deliver information on a particular problem, and can solve that problem. An interviewee should be having complete knowledge about the company, the products, and the job role. This gives a strong message to an interviewer that you are interested in the job and would love to make a career through it.

A particular job requires a particular skill, and it is better to be clear about the skills you are good at. Faking your skills is a bad corporate culture, instead, reassure the interviewer that you can learn new skills.

Group discussions in campus interviewer

The skills required in group discussion is

  • Listen
  • Understand
  • Process
  • Speak

Listening is very important, listen to the topic which needs to be discussed very clearly, listen to the conversation made by the other group members, understand where they are taking the conversation, process what important data are they missing, take charge and speak confidently about the process you understood. Remember, it is a discussion, not a debate.

Importance of Aptitude Test for MBA Students

Aptitude tests are one of the most commonly used methods for assessing candidates. These tests may be either verbal or non-verbal, and they assess a candidate’s problem understanding, solving, communicating, and mental abilities. The candidate should be having strong knowledge of mathematical operations and be able to calculate the percentage.

Tips for Campus Interview:

  • Practice having a conversation with random people.
  • Attend a few mock interviews.
